After 15 years in VFX, I finally wrote a screenplay then gave myself 3 weeks to bring it to life as a trailer.

I used AI tools like Veo3 and ChatGPT, composited imagined characters into generated locations, and treated every frame with the same care I’d give a client job.

A few real shots from Joshua Tree made it in. The rest? AI-driven, VFX-enhanced, and emotionally personal.

It’s not perfect—but it’s the closest I’ve come to directing something of my own.
